Solution 5: Zero the scale

Before performing the following steps, remove the package or item from the scale. Make sure the scale is on a flat and level surface. If the scale is sitting on the same surface as an object that causes vibration, like a fan, this vibration may affect the accuracy of the scale weight.

If you are creating a shipping label, tap Zero Scale next to the weight field. Additionally, you can zero the scale by going to the About Device screen.

  1. Tap More > About Device.
  2. Tap Zero Scale.

The scale will now zero out the weight.
