Standard Accounting

• Reset all accounts (clear data)
• Reset individual accounts (clear data)
• Verify the accounting period has moved ahead after performing an account reset.

Budget Accounting

• Back up your data using PC Transfer Utility
• Print Reports (Accounting Period has Ended)
• Clearing all accounts
• Clearing the Transaction Log for Budget Manager
• Verify the accounting period change after performing fiscal summary reports.

HELP ME determine what type of accounting I have.

1. Press the Menu Button.
2. Select Setup.
3. Select Accounting Setup.
4. Using the arrow buttons, scroll until you see Accounting.
5. Displayed to the right of Accounting will be the type of accounting you are using.

Paragon® (E100 Series) Meter

• Clear Transaction Log (Monthly Reports)
• Clear Posted Accounting Date (Yearly Reports)

Note: The "Cutoff Date Error" occurs when the Paragon Cutoff Date has reached the end of the accounting period or transaction period.
